Tuck Shop Express

To encourage our students to use more English in daily life, Tuck Shop Express was organized during the English Week to let our boys order food in English. Thanks to the assistance of the school tuck shop, a temporary food stall (‘Tuck Shop Express’) was set up in the covered playground during recesses. The only rule for ordering food is: English orders only!

Although some boys were shy and reluctant to use English at first, with the help of English ambassadors (holding up English menu) and English teachers’ encouragement, most could accomplish their mission and get their food. We hope this experience can give our boys more confidence in using English.
